I have now been to Japan twice and both times were completely different experiences and if I have a chance to go back I know there will be a whole new set of adventures to cherish. So I guess it requires me to do an updated to do list, and hopefully I will get another chance to try and knock off some more from this list.

1/Climb Mt. Fuji
2/See a Sumo match in Japan.
3/Finish the hearts on my Yamanote circle line map, (the hearts meant I had to get off at this stop, either this time around or last time, still have a few to do so......next time)
4/Take part in a tea ceremony
5/Spend more time outside of Kyoto like visiting Mount Koya, and inside Kyoto get to the Silver Paivillion (Ginkakuji....and a few other shrines and temples I missed this time round like the Moss Temple and , Heian Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera).
6/ Go back to Tokyo Disney and add DIsney Sea.
7/To stay in Osaka and go to Hozenji Yokocho for food and nightlife., to see the temples at Namba Yasaka and go the observation decks at Tsutenkaku Tower and Abeno Harukas.
8/To attend a Kanto Matsuri festival in Akita
9/Okinawa....need I say more
10/Sapporo Snow Festival
11/ Nagano was just a stop on the train to Yamanouchi and the monkeys, would like to take a look around next time. While I am in the Nagano Prefecture- use my JR pass and go to Matsumoto and visit the castle there
12/Go to a themed restaurant in Japan-either a maid, ghost, ninja or prison one, I'm not fussed as to which one it is.
13/Stay on Miyajima Island and explore more, and take that ride up the Mt Misen.
14/The fish markets....love to eat it but a bit sensitive to the smell and wasn't sure I could handle it but think I should have manned up and done it!
15/ Take a ride up the Sumida River in Tokyo
16/See Japan in the autumn with the amazing foliagem,
17/Sumiyoshi Taisha in Osaka- how did I miss it again? Although getting lost in Osaka this time wasn't a bad thing.
18/To be on a cruise ship leaving the port of Kobe and see it from a different view.
19/Wander through the many different gardens at Shinjuku Gyoen Gardens
20/Go to the Mori Art Museum and Observatory in Roppongi
21/ If I am back in Tokyo in azalea season (April-May) go back so see the blooms in Nezu
22/To go to the Old Japanese Farm Houses Museum outside of Osaka
23/To go to Nagasaki and see the Peace Park there
24/To go to Kumamoto Castle and explore the grounds and towers.
25/To do a giant Buddha tour (found a great link for 10 famous Buddhas in Japan, 2 down. 8 to go)
