Rome is amazing....15 minute walk one way from our hotel and you come across the Coliseum, 15 minutes another way the Trevi fountain and a whole lot in between 😀 Because of my sore knee and ankle we decided to opt for a hop on hop off bus just to get the lay of the land and we happily did the circuit taking in as much as we could, good thing really because when we decided to hop off at the Coliseum and spent time there and then wandered around Palantine Hill there wasn't much of the day left...there is so much to see and take in in that small area. We had a fabulous dinner before heading to the Trevi fountain and threw our coins in....it might be awhile (it's been 20+ years for me) but maybe I will be back again one day. One thing I will NOT miss are the people trying to push things on you....NO i do NOT need a selfie stick, a portable charger, or an umbrella (well I could have done with an umbrella but NO I am not going to buy one!!!) I do NOT need a map when you can clearly see I am holding one, and although I may want a scarf you trying to push one on me is not encouraging me to buy one. I DON"T want your bracelets or your roses so leave me TF alone!!!!!! Tuesday in Rome
