Day 4 which was the travel back in time day leaving Shanghai on the 28th of October at 9pm and arriving in LA on the 28th of October at 5,25pm.to the chaos that is LAX. We had a pretty good flight, no one was sitting with us so we had a little bit more room and sort of sleep and I was grateful for that and fingers crossed it will happen again. The food was mmmm one out of three meals was okay, one was edible but I didn't eat it and one I am not sure what it was but the chicken was not chicken or anything that resembled anything so I gave up and went back to dozing) Getting through customs was a breeze...getting out of the airport was a nightmare...for an airport that has so many thousands of passengers a day it needs a system that works better because it was horrendous. I got chatting to a woman while we waited for a transfer (we were lucky it only took us 30minutes once we finally found the transfer station ...which probably took longer) who told me that sometimes it takes her two hours to get home from the airport (which is only 20 minutes away) because of the airport chaos.So heads up people heading to LAX be prepared if you arrive at a busy time like we did. We finally made it to the hotel by 9pm too tired, hot and sticky to do anything other than grab a burge.r onion rings and fries from a burger joint near the hotel (the burger was great) shower and collapse;
