My 7 Wonders of Shanghai

Okay, time for my 7 wonders of Shanghai, remembering that this is just MY opinion of my trip to Shanghai and will not be applicable to everyone and I am sure if I do a return trip anytime soon it will change because I will do other thing so in no particular order here they are

1/I loved the views from the Bund over the river, whether by night or by day they were spectacular.

2/ People watching; I loved being up early and watching the city wake up with the people doing tai-chi, dancing and walking their dogs, it was a nice slice of life.

3/ People's Square, with it's amazing buildings, beautiful gardens and wide open spaces for people to do their thing

4/ The Maglev was cool, and when you are only in the city for a short amount of time and making each minute count, the 8-10mins on a fast, air conditioned train beats 30-45 minutes on a hot underground.

5/ Nanjing Rd which is a lively spot during both the day and the night, there is plenty of shopping, lots of restaurants and just a great place to walk and people watch.

6/ The City Temple, I am a sucker for temples and even though unassuming it had hidden depths which were wonderful to explore and to just soak up the atmsophere.

7/ And lastly the reason we were in Shanghai, which was to go to Disney which was fun.
