disney day 1

All Disney fans stay and read....if you're not ....see you in the next post 😁 After being in Shanghai Disney the first thing you notice is the size, Disneyland Park is much smaller as is the castle, but it has that quintessential mid-America 1950s feel which is quaint and cute, The vibe is so different and each land feels exactly like it is that, Frontier Land and New Orleans Square, Galaxies Edge and the story telling is wonderful. Tomorrow Land needs a bit of a sprucing up and I believe it is the next part of the park to be redone so it will be interesting to see in a few years when Tomorrow Land comes into the 21st Century. We had a lot of fun and did every ride we possibly could (except the spinning ones and the Matterhorn which was closed) We got completely soaked at Splash Mountain, went on two adventures with Indiana Jones, did the Star Tours The Adventure Continues twice and both times it was different but the best ride of the day (sorry Jenna) was the Haunted Mansion with the Nightmare Before Christmas Theme which was truly magical and even though the queues were huge we managed to do it twice. We ate some fun food (and some sort of healthy stuff 😁) , saw some of the characters and watched an amazing light show, we did a little shopping (some more than others) and just enjoyed the magic that Disney has to offer
