Day 6 Today was a day at a different theme park, Universal Studios which is a theme park and working film studio and the highlight for any film buff is the studio tour which takes an hour and shows you some amazing sets and lets you in on some of the secrets and keeps you enthralled and entertained for an hour.Just a little something you may not realise unless you have done the tour is that the first tour happened over 100 years ago after Universal CIty was opened on March 14 1915 and the head of the studios invited the public to see how movies were made at a cost of 5c (it's a little more expensive now between $109-119 US depending on the day) We started the day with the rides on the backlot which is down four escalators for the Jurassic World, Transformers and Mummy rides which we managed to do twice before the crowds started. From there we went on the Studio Tour and while we know there was shooting going on we didn't get to see any celebs. From here it was time to explore Hogsmeade and Hogwarts and if you are a Harry Potter fan you would be in heaven here (and the frozen Butterbeer tasted pretty good too) We explored the rest of the park which was not as good as I remembered (they are doing building works and they also have the Halloween Horror Nights so a few things are closed off to cater for those -and we couldn't get tickets for those) Also the big show they always do to show the stunts and different special effects, Waterworld was closed so we left the park a little earlier and talk a stroll down Universal Walk to find an early dinner that was not them park food or fries and we found Margaritaville which had a really great Ahi-Tuna Poke dish which was sublime however I destroyed the healthy by eating keylime pie (delish) and a little of MIkayla;s chocolate brownie, We had a relatively early night getting back to the hotel by 9pm which has given me a chance to catch up here and rest up for our last day in Disney tomorrow.
