Halloween in the US is crazy and they go all out, from the moment you turn on television and watch the morning show until you come home laden with candy from trick or treating to everything in between, We got a haul from trick or treating at Disney California at the Oogie Boogie Bash (and I am hoping that the staff have a sweet tooth or kids that didn't get much candy because I can;t take it all with me when we fly out tomorrow (off to London for leg 3) Today started really well,,we actually had a sleep in and chilled in the morning (we had tickets to the Oogie Boogie Bash which is the Halloween Party at California Disney but you couldn't get into the park until 2pm so that meant relaxing for the first time this trip and it was wonderful, We left the hotel around 12 to take a look around Disney walk which is the shopping and entertainment area between the two parks and again we saw how enthusiastic people are about Halloween with all the different costumes on display,' OKAY THAT WAS ENOUGH DISNEY FOR THOSE WHO DON;T LIKE SO STOP READING NOW California Disney has a completely different feel to the Disneyland Park, a bit of old time Hollywood glam, a seaside boardwalk holiday at Pixar Pier, and camping trips in the woods or desert, They have a couple of intense ride-Guardians of the Galaxy which is the old tower of terror and the Incredi-coaster which we stupidly more than once and a few others that were fun and not as stomach churning like Monsters Inc and Ariel but the real fun was the treat trails with trick or treating and the evil' characters who were out to scare. It was loads of fun. The parade with the Headless Horseman was entertaining and the light show at the end of the night "Villainous" (for Halloween) was amazing and unfortunately too hard to capture on film although I tried. Our time in LA is nearly up and we are ready for new adventures so stay tuned
