Wet weather wasn't enough to dampen our spirits as Mikayla and I explored more of Krakow, this time walking along the Vistula River to Wawel Castle which was constructed in the 14th Century but has undergone many changes and has a mix of building styles which adds to it;s charms. It stands on Wawel Hill which gives great views of the river, We had considered doing a tour but everything they covered were things that we had already done so we decided to do a 'tram tour' which was find a tram and ride it to the end of the line and see what we could see.it was fun and you could see a marked difference between the old town. the areas that probably sprung up under Communist rule and the up and coming trendy areas. We had a moment of concern that we could get lost but I think if you are riding the trams in Krakow that is almost impossible because eventually they get to the Barbican which was our stop
