An overnight train from Krakow brought us to the beautiful city of Prague which even in bleak weather (and the coldest yet at 3degrees) is magnificent. We managed to get an early check in, well worth the E20 we paid to have a quick snooze and freshen up from the train and then we went out exploring. The Vltava River runs through Prague and it has many pretty bridges alongside the famous one, the Charles Bridge and and the buildings around them are like picture postcards, pretty and very colourful. We headed as far as the Dancing House which was created by architects Milunic and Gehry to represent Fred and Ginger *the nickname of the building (and for those who don't know the reference check out one of the 10 musicals from the 1930s that they were in) We crossed the river heading towards the famous Charles Bridge which until 1841 was the only way to cross the river (construction started in 1357) and as it is such a touristy spot it was completely crowded and you can't appreciate the many statues dotted across the bridge because there are too many people trying to get their selfies (me included) We got lost in Old Town while trying to find the Astronomical Clock, but it's not a bad place to get lost in :D as there is a picture worth taking at every turn so there may be a few while we are here
