Are we there yet?

Again that question what was I thinking?

What was I thinking when I looked at the flight and just went yeah that's okay??

Where was my brain and the side of me that asks lots of questions?? I guess it was asleep...like I wished I was many times over the last however many days it's been.

50 hours from bed to bed....what was I thinking???

Step 1: 1st March- 4.30am wake up call to get organised for 6am pick up from hotel...question-why didn't I go to bed earlier last night when I knew I was getting up so early?

Step 2: 11 1/2 hour Korean Air Flight to Narita...question-if known we were going to hit turbulence that was a bit like a roller coaster without the loops....would I have had such a big breakfast at the airport?

Step 3: 5 1/2 hour layover in Narita....question-why didn't we take time to get out of the airport and head back to Narita town just for another taste of Japan? And-why didn't I leave some more money for the great shops at Narita airport and a little more space in my luggage?

Step 4: 7hr Singapore Airways flight to Changi...question why didn't I sleep instead of watching more movies?

Step 5: 8hr layover in Changi....the big question why didn't I make it at least a 32hr one and have a proper stopover and get out of the airport for a break and some fresh air? or arrange for a flight that came in after 7 so we could go for a tour of the city from the airport which the airport arranges for long transit passengers? or why I didn't nap in that comfy chair I found instead of reading my book?

Step 7:OMG another flight....this time the 8hrs to Melbourne....questionWHY?????????? Why can't I sleep? Why am I flying instead of exploring? Why am I going home when there is so much more world to see? Why can't I get off the plane NOW....that was about 2 hours before end and I could have happily parachuted off the plane? Why is the flight not over yet??????? Are we there yet??/

Step 8: 3rd March sometime around midnight.....HOME SWEET HOME....landed, immigration cleared, luggage picked up...woohoo it came home with us instead of travelling the world alone...customs cleared, family hugs and kisses and the ride home answering lots of questions.....a huge cup of tea and some pressies given out (the boxes can be opened tomorrow and sorted properly) a long hot shower, and then the question.....

Why after so many hours can't I get to sleep???

and the BIGGEST question.....

WHEN can I go away again????? And where?????

But most importantly.....why was I ever worried about travelling with Samara?...She was an awesome travelling companion, fun, a little nutty, always eager to explore new things, crazy, always making me laugh, sometimes a pain in the butt, but a great person to spend time with and I hope we get to do it again some time soon.
